| Sunday School for Children Merry, multi-age Grace Kids, from toddlers to teens, gather on the second and fourth Sundays at 10 AM to share learning activities with caring, guiding adults before joining the whole congregation for Communion. All parts of the Christian tradition are passed on in individualized, age appropriate ways so Grace Kids grow comfortably into understanding God's love. |

| G.R.U.B. GracePlace Meals Are Urban Blessings. This is our quarterly meal for all in our neighborhood. We cook from a common recipe, invite our neighbors in, and enjoy the meal and fellowship together. |
Movie
Night A time each month in member's homes when we have a pot-luck meal, the theme of which is taken generally from the video we will watch together. Following the video, we discuss what we saw. |
Expansion of
the Preaching Ministry Trained and commissioned lay persons add their preaching voices to those of the ordained clergy through The Guild of the Word. |

City Housing Ventures (CCHV) CCHV is an interfaith alliance of some fifteen downtown Chicago religious communities founded in the mid 80's to halt the disappearance of affordable housing for single individuals in the downtown area. In 1998, in partnership with the Chicago Christian Industrial League, CCHV built, and now runs, a 170-room apartment building for single adults, The Studios, at 1801 S. Wabash. |

| Race at Grace This is our community's response to the national and diocesan church's call to become an anti-racist institution. The Race at Grace Leadership team consists of individuals who have completed the diocesan Anti-Racism training through Crossroads. The team does evaluation of Grace Church's racial climate and history, and hosts educational and fellowship opportunities (bookstudies, movie nights, discussion of current events) for the larger congregation. |
Prayer
Teams/Laying-on-of-Hands As an extension of the healing ministry of prayer in his congregation, Prayer Teams, under the supervision of the Rector of the church, are available following liturgy on the first and third Sundays for special prayer requests of all sorts, including, if desired, the laying-on-of-hands. | Christmas
Baskets Each year Grace Church prepares a dozen holiday baskets for clients of the Cathedral Shelter on Chicago's near west side. Often includes in these baskets, in addition to holiday foods, are gifts for children and adults, clothing, toiletries and games. |
