Suggested donations for meeting in Grace Place

(adopted by the Vestry of Grace Church 12/19/05)

One of the ministries of Grace Episcopal Church is to offer its building, GracePlace, for use by community groups and individuals. We do ask that users of our building make a donation to share the ever-increasing expenses involved in staffing, cleaning, heating, cooling, lighting and performing maintenance on this space.

Meetings

Not-for-profit, educational, civic, governmental use - main floor or lower level:  $300 (1-4 hours); $500 (4-8 hours)

Business, proprietary profit-making use: $500 (1-4 hours); $700 (4-8 hours)

Community and Support Groups (e.g. 12-steps programs, Scouts): $3 per person per event

[Please note:  there is a 10% discount of these suggested donations when more than three events are scheduled at one time for one calendar year]

Parties and Celebrations

Private parties by tenant congregation members, organizations and staff (including Playgroup participants): $350

Private parties by other individuals and organizations: $800

Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and Babynamings

    Chapel: $500

    Main Floor reception: see private parties above.

Weddings

by tenant congregation members, organizations and staff members: ($300 plus $30 per hour)

by other individuals . . .

    Chapel (1 hour rehearsal + 2 hours for wedding = 3 hours): $800

    Main floor for reception: $1,200
